** E 7am - 2.30pm / L 2.30pm - 10pm, Sleeps and Waking Nights are 10pm - 7am **
** Working alternative weekends **
** Working across 5 Residential Homes in the Brackley area with working in the community **

BS Social Care are looking for a Residential Support Worker to work across 5 residential homes and in the community in the Brackley area of Northamptonshire for a full-time and permanent role. Working with adults with Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy, Seizures with low - moderate needs.

About the job; you will support the service users to live independently by supporting them with daily needs and with activities such as accompanying with appointments, going to the bank and recreational activities. Helping with cleaning rooms and assisting with cooking and preparing meals. You will also help with medication. You will be given check lists for each shift that will help guide the shift and what activities will be needed to be carried out. You will use an online digital system that you will use for recording and writing notes against their care plans. This role does include some personal care however this is more prompting and helping with things like brushing teeth and supporting with any struggles faced. Included will be some wheel chair use but most service users are mobile, so hoisting is not required.

About the ideal candidate; We are looking for candidates who have the right mindset and willing to learn. Candidates that understand the needs of the care role and who are able to be flexible with shifts and travelling within the different homes and out in the community. You will need to be a driver with at least 1 year`s licence held due to working at different locations and in the community and will not be considered if you`re not. You will need to be computer literate or willing to learn due to everything moving in a technology way and to be able to use Microsoft programmes and email.

This is a permanent and full-time role working, E 7am - 2.30pm / L 2.30pm - 10pm working alternative weekends. For this, we are offering £16,204- £16,282. You will be entitled to the new Golden Hello Scheme which is receiving £500 after completing 6 months promotion and a further £500 after completing 1 full year - subject to contracted hours. You will receive 25 days + 8 bank holidays for 0-5 years` service and 28 days + 8 bank holidays for employees with 5+ years` service.
