Salary: £38,781.95 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours

Location: Wandsworth


I am currently working in partnership with a client who is looking for an extraordinary respite registered manager with a commitment to high quality support and focus on personalisation to join the team for their Wandsworth service.

Shift Pattern: A combination of Monday-Friday 9-5 and some flexibility about weekends / evenings / early starts to monitor the service and provide leadership and support to staff

The role of a Respite Registered Manager is to enable the Wandsworth respite team to deliver a state-of-art person centred short break service to about 50 individuals in a 7-bed residential service. It is also overseeing an outreach service that provides support to about 30 individuals. As the Cluster Manager, you will manage a few services with the responsibility for leading teams to provide support to people with a range of low to high support needs.

You will coach and mentor your team to embrace a person-centred approach; to enable the people we support to achieve their full potential, goals, and aspirations.
You will lead and quality assure the safe achievement of supported individual's planned outcomes in community connection, health and well-being, education and employment ensuring that high standards of person centred support is continuously developed and maintained, working with families, the local community and other providers.

To be a registered respite manager at this company the following are essential:
oA proven track record as a CQC registered manager within LD and autism adult services
oAn experience of inspiring and motivating staff to provide personalised support and safeguard vulnerable individuals from abuse
oAble to provide leadership and support the team through change, driving performance and improving compliance and the quality of support
oAble to assess new referrals under time pressure and produce person centred risk management plans
