Are you a RGN or RMN looking for a new position with a small friendly company who aim to be a part of the local communities?

I am currently looking for a part time RGN/RMN to join a small team who provide environments which make their residents safe, secure, comfortable and cared for as individuals.

This home has a long standing well respected reputation. Many members of the staff have been at the home many years. The home provides both nursing and residential and is easily accessible by public transport on both Bus and Train.

MAIN PURPOSE: To provide comprehensive provision of service for the residents with particular regard to their physical and Mental health, social rehabilitation needs with the highest quality of care possible.

You will be expected to carry out many different duties and responsibilities such as-

-Maintain a Diary and liaising with other nurses and professionals regarding diary entries.
-Delegate tasks and take report at shift changeovers.
-You will have to communicate with both residents and their families informing of change of the residents conditions or admitting new residents.
-Provide First Aid cover for all staff, residents and visiting relatives.
-Complete and maintain Care Plans/Kardex for each resident.
-Supervise and assist Care Assistants when dealing with residents in the following activities:

a. Toileting/Bathing
b. dressing/Undressing
c. Feeding
d. Basic hairdressing/nails etc.
e. Tidying areas/bedrooms/lounges/etc.
f. Re-stocking of stores
g. Monitoring of personal toiletries



This position is part time at 24 hours per week, predominantly working 8am to 8pm two days however there will be some opportunity for half day shifts. You will be working alternate weekends and you must be registered with the NMC.
