SEN Teaching Assistant

£8.35 - 40 hours Term time only

My client is current recruiting for a SEN teaching assistant to join their education team. You will be based at Partington in Manchester but be required to travel between locations at Ashley and Northwich at there other education sites.

You will have experience working as an SEN teaching assistant and ideally my client is looking for someone with a teaching qualification although this is not essential, you must also have a minimum level 2 in English. You will need to drive as you will be travelling between 3 different locations, mileage is paid between locations during shift time but not going from home to location.

Your role will be to work closely with the children in the companies education sites helping on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis with all aspects of there curriculum, You will aid access to the full range of learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom and provide modified materials. You will also be involved in the planning and preparation of the day to day focused activities and classes and supporting the lead teacher where possible during the school day. You do have the opportunity to work an additional 5 weeks in the residential side within the sites aswell if you would like to but if not and you would like to just stay as a Teaching Assistance this is ok.
