Brook Street are proud to advertise a temporary position for a Senior Programme Administrator for MOD - REMOTE ROLE.
Job Description
The Armed Forces Recruiting Programme (AFRP) is a high value, Government Major Projects Portfolio (GMPP) tri-Service programme with a required in-service date of 2024. The AFRP is a high profile, exciting and fast paced programme.
This role will be future facing, working to design and then deliver the future tri-Service recruiting solution in collaboration with a future industry supplier.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced Programme Management Office supporting the Competitive Dialogue and Design authority process, and will be able to evidence that they have an eye for detail and adopt a customer focused approach while being able to deal with conflicting deadlines.
They will have good communication skills including experience of demonstrating the ability to develop good working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and a good working knowledge of Project delivery and practices across the breadth of the Project lifecycle.
The candidate will be using P3M programme management methods, standards and processes; implementing them into the Project and maintained throughout the Project lifecycle.
Main responsibilities:
Undertake any administrative and support tasks as specified by the PMO. Support the Delivery of the Programme and/or Project Including:
- Update and maintain key documentation with PSO Lead
- Provide general support to the programme delivery teams, e.g. organisation, administration and
- Support wider programme with coordination of meetings, manage the attendee list, dial in details, prepare and distribute invites and agendas, production of minutes and actions plans.
- Provide a flexible resource to support Project activities such as risk workshops, scheduling, dial in details, etc
- Undertake information gathering to support the sub-programme as requested by Project Leads
- Respond to ad hoc requirements for new information, reports, document location, document updates
- Maintain Programme organisation charts
- Resolve day-to-day administrative issues
- Understand and provide advice on the principles for protecting, reviewing and retrieving information
- Support the AFRP Programme Management Office with accurate and timely data for reporting
Essential Experience:
- We are looking for supporting candidates that have used Outlook/ SharePoint previously and can act proactively to solve any problems.
- Experience of working within a Project Delivery Team.
Pay rate: £13.70/hour, M to F - this role is full time (37.30 hrs per week)
MOD - location: Malborough Lines, Andover, Hampshire, SP11 8HJ, ROLE- WORKING REMOTELY, ALL IT EQUIPMENT WILL BE PROVIDED.
Length of assignment: until 31/10/22
