£8.50 Per hour

My client an elderly residential home is currently looking for a Senior support worker to join their friendly team! Their main focus is to make residents feel welcome and happy! You will play a key part in ensuring the residents feel at home and are living the life the want to. You will encourage them to be as independent as possible and give them the free of choice.

You will ideally have working in caring for the elderly as either a care assistant or care coordinator however we would still love to hear from you if you have care experience but in a different sector as we understand you will have many transferable skills. You will need to have a minimum of an NVQ Level 2 in health and social care. Full training will be provided to the selected candidate to the level they will need to be to complete the role. You will need to be available for cover shifts over 7 days as the residents will need care 24/7.

You will be responsible for leading the shift and supporting the care assistants to make sure they are providing the best possible care. You will need to be confident to delegate jobs whilst on shift to make sure everything that is needed to be completed is.
