Job Description

Senior Care Assistant

Part Time 28hours a week

South Manchester

Competitive Salary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced senior care assistant to join our amazing team in providing excellent quality care in an elderly residential home. The home is set in South Manchester and also specialises in dementia care. This is a part time position for 28 hours to be worked over 4 days (7 hour shifts) on a rota basis.

You will be joining an incredible team and with your skills and experience you will be part of something amazing as you look to supervise carers to provide the highest quality care. You may have to do rotas and visit health professionals on occasion. Being the senior care assistant you will always look to lead by example and won't mind getting your hands dirty, there will be times you will be doing hands on care, but this won't be a problem for you as your caring and compassionate nature will shine through as you put the residents needs first.

You will be medication trained and will be competent in the safe administering of medication. A vital part of this role is ensuring that all documentation is completed and recorded correctly; due to the nature of this role it would be advantageous to have basic IT knowledge in particular a good understanding of Microsoft word to aid you in writing and updating care plans and recording data. You must be organised and willing to go the extra mile.

To apply for this role you must have previous experience in being a senior carer and you must have at least a level 2 in health and social care (ideally a level 3) and be medication trained. You must be willing to be flexible to work across the rota and be care focused.

In return for your commitment and compassion you will be rewarded with a very competitive salary, holidays, pension scheme and more!

We will only be accepting CVs and applications from those with the relevant experience and those who meet the essential criteria. So if that is you, don't waste time in applying as interviews are happening fast and you don't want to miss out on an opportunity like this!

You can apply online or email or call 0161 228 6168 to discuss the role further!
