Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for passionate and dedicated Care Workers to support individuals in the community with care needs within the Liverpool area

You will be working for one of the cities finest providers in Care and Support, to achieve their ambitions and potential. Joining the group at a very exciting time of growth and expansion, which could lead to future progression and development opportunities.

You will be expected to promote good care practice, maintaining service user's dignity and independence, mentor new care support workers, completing community observations of their work and providing support and guidance during their first 12 weeks. Complete audits of service provision to identify deficiencies, including completing medication audits, care record audits, contribute to the monitoring, evaluation, and review of services, complete work-based supervisions with care support workers. Work in partnership with other teams to ensure that concerns or changes to care need are responded to appropriately and in a timely way, develop positive relationships with service users and their family members, providing reassurance and information to new users of the service. Support teams in the community to meet higher level of need / specialist care including stoma care, catheter care, PEG.

We are looking for people who really want to make a difference to peoples lives and have a real passion for care.

Driving is essential for this role and so is experience. Ideally have a level 3 in health and social care or be willing to work towards it.

Salary is between £18,915 - £19,987 pro rata.
