Job Description

We are looking for a number of Senior Residential Childcare Practitioner based in a 6 bedded service in Stoke. You will be working for an established company that provide residential and education support.

Your main role will be to provide support to children and young people, support the home manager and be responsible for the day to day management of the home when the manager is not in the service. You will need to be someone who can motivate a team and lead by outstanding examples.

For this role you must have diploma Level 3 in residential childcare, previous experience of working with young people and a manual driving licence.

You would be working shifts at the service which would include day shifts and sleep in shifts so it is important that you are flexible with when you can work. You will normally work between 2/3 shifts a week so great for work/life balance!

You would be paid the below

£204.73 for a 24.5 hour sleep shift
£159.73 Non sleep shift
£9.68 per hour for any training or team meetings.
