Senior Head Of Care

We are working with a valued client who are looking to appoint a Senior Head Of Care based in Bristol. This will be for a new residential children`s home that will be opening in May. This is a full time position that will also include weekend and evening work.

You will be responsible for leading the team to provide holistic support and lead and direct the care and skill development programmes for the pupils. You will ensure that the children`s wellbeing is fully supported through the use of homely remedies and external applications.

You will monitor and review individual therapeutic programs for each child and young person in conjunction with the holistic support and care advisor. As the care lead for children and young people within the home, be responsible for the production of progress reports for residential pupils and attend single and multi-agency review meetings and be accountable for delivering against agreed actions.

You will To ensure the residential provision is staffed appropriately at all times (evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays and during the day as required) through school term time and during 52 week provision when required.

About you

• You will hold a level 4 qualification as a minimum
• Have experience within a residential setting
• Have management experience with supporting children and young people
• Excellent organisational skills, including an ability to plan and prioritise own and others` workload
