I am actively seeking a skilled, compassionate child centred senior support worker to join a leading, recognised provider of residential care and educational support for children and young people. You will be based within one of their small, homely services in the ST18 and ST20 localities.

You will become a pivotal part of an established, care focused organisation who is committed to making a difference to the lives of the young people they support. A forward thinking organisation, this is reflected in their work practices, training and professional development.

Within your role as senior support worker, you will lead shifts and offer direct support to the staff team. Staff supervisions, report writing, care and support planning and behaviour management are all a key part of the senior support worker role.

This is the perfect opportunity for a skilled children`s residential support worker who is seeking the next step on the career ladder or an established senior support worker who would like the opportunity to join a national provider.

To be successful in your application for senior residential support worker you must demonstrate a proven background within children`s residential care settings as a residential support worker or as a senior. You will hold the QCF level 3 in health and social care for children and young people`s services and have flexibility to work a varied shift pattern. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential to be considered for this job role.
