Job Description

BS Social Care working with an organisation that are looking to recruit full time permanent Senior Residential Support Workers across their services.

BS Social Care are currently working with an established organisation who have four homes for young boys aged 13-18, all set in rural areas within West Sussex and Surrey. The organisation also runs a school specifically for the boys in its care, this helps to encourage development and allows for the residents to receive any specialised help they may require.

We are looking for candidates that can help to provide a safe and stable presence for the boys. the position will require:
Leading by example as Senior Residential Support Worker
Report writing
Being able to Follow Care Plans
Keeping up with new training where appropriate and relevant
Getting involved in the day to day activity of the boys and being able to engage with them
Employing safeguarding measures where appropriate

You would need to be willing to engage the young people in a wide range of activities and support them through their time at at the service; guiding them towards Independence and Adulthood. You will need to be flexible with your working hours and be able to work a mixture of days, evenings and weekends.

You must have had experience in a Senior Residential Support Worker role and worked in a similar setting for at least two years
A relevant qualifications such as an NVQ Level 3 Children & Young People's Workforce is essential

you will need a full clean UK drivers license as well as your own mode of transport

PAYING UP TO £26,680 INCLUDING SLEEP IN PAY, DEPENDENT ON QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The service will also help employees attain qualifications that will them to progress further in their career.

There will be two interviews.
The first interview will be an informal introduction with two of the service managers.
The second will be a more formal process that tests your knowledge and situation judgement
