Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a Residential home for Young People.

You will be working for a national organisation, rated outstanding with Ofsted, who provide care, education, and therapy services to young people who have experienced trauma in their lives resulting in emotional and behavioural difficulties. Children's Residential Service offers both short & long-term, therapeutic placements for young people aged between 10 and 18 years of age.

The homes offer long term placements where young people receive a high level of nurturing and therapeutic care. Residents are supported to attend school or college and are equipped to become successful young adults in the future. As the Senior Residential Support Worker your duties would include providing support to the Young People. You will also act as a Key Worker for the young people and this will consist of supporting them out in the community and engaging them into , making accurate daily notes and report writing, observing the trends of behaviour and promoting the independence of the young people whilst supporting your colleagues wherever needed.

The successful candidate will be passionate in providing the best person-centred care to the young people, a Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent, relevant experience of supporting Young People within a Residential setting and hold a full UK Driving Licence.

This is a full-time position with salaries starting from £23,400 to £25,608 per annum plus benefits (based on ten 24 hour shifts per month) Excellent overtime rates £15.10 - £16.25 an hour plus the following benefits when you join;
