HOURS 37 Hours a week 4 to 6 sleep ins a month would be expected.


An exciting opportunity has become available to work for a well established name in childrens residential homes. Our client has homes throughout the north east. The successful candidate will need experience of working in young people homes and have a real passion for making a difference in young peoples lives and supporting children who have been placed in care . This service is a 3 bedded modern home with two vacant spaces currently.

The role will include dealing with emotional and behavioural difficulties with the young people who in the main have come from a traumatic background. The successful applicant will offer a safe and secure environment, creating that home from home atmosphere and also help out with all daily duties including meal times.
The successful candidate will have, a robust and resilient attitude, relevant level 3 qualification working with children and young people, minimum 6 months experience of working in young people homes, an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
