We are recruiting for a Senior RSW for a very well-know, registered therapeutic organisation whose Ofsted ratings, are ranked number 1 out of the top 10 private and voluntary providers of residential care in the country, with 100% GOOD or OUTSTANDING ratings across all our homes and schools.

The successful candidate will receive a salary of Salary: £21,450 - £23,250 DOE
Earnings: £26,175 - £27,975 (Including 10 "sleep-ins" per month paid at £45 per sleep)


About the Role

You will join the team of a 6 bedded service for girls, providing medium to long-term placements within a safe, stable, and consistent living environment.Some of them have attaching disorder. The outcomes for the young people have made this service one of our highest achieving homes maintaining Outstanding for many years.


The effectively and efficiently deliver the main responsibilities and key result areas within the Senior RSW role. Ensuring effective service delivery with a view to supporting the positive development of the children/young people, staff, service and organisation.


You will also be supporting the needs of Children and Young People
Through individual practice and the effective management of a team, actively support the positive holistic development of the children/young people within the home.
To actively safeguard and promote the welfare of the children/young people.
To report immediately any unsafe practices and conditions.
To ensure the ongoing assessment of children and young people's needs in day-to-day practice.
Ensure all staff practice is in line with best practice and the children and young people's Care and Placement Plans
Provide a positive role model for the young people, presenting oneself in a highly professional manner.

Essentials


Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (children's social care pathway) or equivalent
Application Form/ Certificate Minimum of 2 years' experience of working with young people in a residential setting or relevant setting.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues, outside agencies, children and families.
Knowledge of the relevant regulations, legislation and statutory guidance.
An understanding the principles of safeguarding and child protection.
To form professional positive, and functional relationships with children and young people. Understanding of children development.
The ability to deal with difficult situations and make appropriate decisions in line with the policies and procedures of the Home.
Commitment to the behaviours and values recognised by the company in relation to integrity, honesty, reliability and compassion
Driving License
