SEEKING SENIOR RESIDENTIAL CARE WORKER!!!
SURREY/ SUSSEX BORDER - JOB TYPE: FULL TIME 40 hours/week
Starting salary: £24,000, rising to £25,000 after 6 month`s probation.

Are you seeking a career as a Senior Residential Support Worker? Do you have a NVQ Level 3 in child care? If so then I have the perfect career prospect for you. An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Senior Residential Support Worker to work in and around the Surrey and Sussex area.

My client prides it`s self on providing a welcoming and stimulating environment to the children in their care. They have four registered Children`s Homes within the Surrey and Sussex Borders. Each home is set in a rural location and offers a comfortable homely environment for young males aged 13-18 years.

This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about providing outstanding service for the young people and encouraging them to achieve to their highest potential. You will provide a safe environment for them to build positive relationships and empower them to face issues from their past and look towards the future.

DESCRIPTION

-To work 40 hours a week plus one sleep-in. In times of illness or crisis you may be asked to cover more shifts.
-To participate in training as required, and to contribute to your own professional development by keeping up to date of national developments in childcare policies and practice.
-To support and encourage the young people to participate in decision making and planning.
-To ensure that communication between staff is promoted and individuals are given the opportunity to express their opinions.

There is an expectation to do at least one sleep in per week and this will be paid at £35.00.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:

-NVQ Level 3 Childcare.
- Minimum 1 years Childcare experience
- Committed to your own career development.
-Good knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding.
-Good communication skills both written and verbal.
