Job Description

BS Social Care are working alongside one of the leading children`s residential care providers in the country to seek experienced and dynamic senior support workers to help in the delivery of excellent care in their services in Teesside going into county Durham.
As a senior support worker, you will assist the management team in providing and safe and secure environment for the children and young people to grow up in and thrive. You will work as part of the team to deliver an individual-focused care plan with each young person giving them the best chance of fulfilling the goals that they set out for themselves. With your experience in the role, you will also be expected to bring through and develop other, less experienced support staff.
The organisation provides care settings in the EBD/trauma sector, including preventing CSE and other specialist homes. They are focused around the best provision, working in all homes to achieve Good or Outstanding in all homes.

Progression and promotion within the organisation are actively encouraged.
You will be expected to take part in a rota system which includes some sleep-ins. You will have at least a level 3 in children`s residential.
