Title: Senior Support Worker
Salary: £20,000
Location: Devizes, Wiltshire
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time 37.5 hours a week (Shift work - willing to do occasional sleep ins, weekends, and Bank Holidays)

About the Role:
Your role will be working as a Senior Support Worker in a friendly and supportive team based in a Residential service in Devizes, Wiltshire.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be guiding junior staff and act as a shift lead. This includes at times administering medication, managing rotas, and updating care plans.
You will be working closely with the manager of the service, gaining a valuable insight into management roles.


About the Service:
The service is a residential facility for adults with learning disabilities and moderate complex needs.
The service provides support for fifty individuals living in semi-independent bungalows on the site.
You will play a vital role in providing support and helping the well-being of individuals by aiding and facilitating personal independence.


About You:

¢ NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Willing to work towards a Level 3)
¢ Experience of monitoring & maintaining records
¢ Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (unless exempt for medical reasons)
¢ An understanding of hygiene and healthy living standards (Ideal NOT essential)
