Job Description

** Senior Support Worker **
** Northampton, Northamptonshire **
** Permanent and full time **
** £20,864**
** Working with 2 males in a brand new service with Learning Disabilities, mental health and Autism **
** 8am - 4pm / 10am - 6pm **


BS Social Care are currently recruiting for Senior Support Workers within the Northampton area of Northamptonshire. This role will be to work within a brand new service supporting 2 males in supported living setting. The role includes early shifts, late shifts over a rota of Monday - Sunday meaning weekend work is essential.

To support the people using our services to achieve their life goals
To assist with the safe and successful daily running of the service

Manage, improve and maintain their own physical and mental well-being
Develop life-skills including budgeting, money management, tenancy sustainment, access to public services, further education and/or employment and living well in the community
Live more fulfilling lives and develop new meanings and purposes
Take control over their life, through their own choices and decisions

About the ideal candidate;
For this role, it is essential that you hold significant understanding of mental health issues, Learning Difficulties and/ or Autism
Substantial experience of work within a Housing and Social Care background
Substantial experience is dealing with `high risk` clients and managing resources effectively
QCF in Health and Social Care - ideally level 3 or equivalent - or to be happy to train towards it
Driving licence - desirable

For this permanent and full time role, you will be offered £20,864 with progression to £21,891.00 per annum which covers a 37.5 hour contract alongside;

You will work part of a rolling rota between Monday - Sunday.
Annual leave - 25 days holiday per annum, plus statutory bank holidays, or time off in lieu if worked which is then increased to 28 days after two year`s continuous employment.
