BS Social Care have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker to work in a Children's home in based in the Liverpool area.

You will be working in a residential setting providing 1 to 1 support to children with emotional behavioural disorder, antisocial disorder, learning barriers and mental health needs. In this role you will be emotionally supporting the young people by establishing an understanding of their individual needs, you will also be required to assist around the house with cooking and domestic duties and will take the young people to school, appointments and social activities. Alongside this as a senior, you will be required to take on management duties such as rota co-ordinating, staff training and management, and motivating your team.

It is important for these children to have consistency in their lives, so we are really looking for someone who is committed to stay with this company and potentially progress into a more senior role. Initially we would expect you to have at least 2 years' experience in working with children in a similar setting and hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People. Additionally, to this you must hold a full driving licence and have flexibility with your working hours.

The hours for this role equate to 160 per month which are split over the month in 24 hour shifts. You will work 10am till 10pm then sleep from 11pm till 7am and finish at 10am the next day. The hourly rate for this role is a competitive £9 per hour and sleeps are paid as a block amount which is TBC.
