BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a Senior Support Worker within the Wellingborough area of Northamptonshire on a permanent and full time basis working with absolutely fantastic residents within their lovely and large residential home.

About the employer; this company is a charity which was established in 1981 by parents that had increasing concerns about the care their children were receiving all those years ago. They are now a successful and well lead charity working with adults (some of which were there as children and now grown up) to ensure that they are receiving the best possible care. Their ethos is totally person centred and they train their staff to give top professional care as this is paramount for everyone involved no matter why you are a part of it.

About the job; this role is to provide effective management within the home. You will be a leader and will hold the responsibility of your team and the care of your service users. You will be supported by a Team Leader and will be motivated by them to ensure your team are doing everything they need to and want to to allow a great service of care and personal development to your staff. This role is to also have fun with the adults within the services as this service is their home. You will be responsible for ensuring your residents are happy and enjoying their day as much as possible. You will work closely with the staff, the management team and the parents of the residents to bring exciting and creative ideas to the table to keep the days positive. You will follow the residents care plans, work hard as a team and do not just the residents and company proud, but do yourself proud. You will give top professional care and will do everything you can to follow the standards put in place by the charity.

About the ideal candidate; due to the location of this role, you will either be a driver or have a dedicated person to pick you up and drop you off. You will hold a Level 3 in Health and Social Care and will hold at the least 1 years senior experience within care. You will be motivated in your role to ensure you are the best of the best and will work hard to provide a safe and fun place for the residents and a developing and support environment for your staff.

A permanent and full time role will be offered working 37.5 hours per week paying £9.73ph - £10.26ph / £18,973 - £20,007. There will be options for overtime, training and promotions to increase your pay.

To apply for this role, please call Zoe Gunn on 01604 448408 or email your CV .
