Title: Service Manager
Salary: £25000 - £30000
Location: Exeter, Devon
Contract Type: Permanent, (Mon to Fri) 09:00 - 17:00 + Commitment to on call

About Role:

As manager, you will be responsible for the running of the outreach services provided. The services provide support for vulnerable children and young people presenting with complex social care needs.

Your role will be to ensure the highest standards of care are provided. This involves encouraging personal independence and support of young people, managing the home in accordance with company ethics & standards.

You will be an inspiring role model for staff to ensure the highest quality of care and support through conducting appraisals, interviews, safeguarding investigations and disciplinaries.

You will also take an active role in budget management, reports on financial performance, provision of using agency cover and authorisation of over time.

About Service:

The young people you will oversee require a range of different care packages within multi occupancy or solo occupancy homes.

Staff will go out to these homes to accommodate to the needs and requirements of the individuals helping facilitate the young people into independence.

Part of your role will be to visit these accommodations and carry out risk assessments and to liaise with HR and the Head of Care.

About YOU:
- Previous managerial experience in care
- Strong knowledge of regulatory legislation (Children's Homes Regulation Standards (2015)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Flexible and willing to do on call
- Multi-site working
