Job Description

** Service Manager **
** Northampton, Northamptonshire **
** Permanent and full time **
** £27,062 with progression to £28,344 **
** Working with 2 males in a brand new service with Learning Disabilities, mental health and Autism **
** Monday - Friday **
** 9am - 5pm **

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a brand new service within the Northampton area of Northamptonshire. This role will be to work within a service supporting 2 males in supported living setting.

About the employer; A national mental health charity providing a range of services across England including supported housing, crisis houses and residential homes as well as community-based services, employment support and social enterprises.

About the job;

Deliver the service/location(s) in line with our values and recovery focussed approach supporting the core accountabilities. This is a front-line management role, with responsibility for the day to day management of service contracts, financial, staff management, support of People Using Services and building maintenance.

As well as ensuring the quality of service and support provided to people who use our services, we`ll rely on you to manage service contracts and commissioner relationships, line manage front line staff and organise any building maintenance requirements. Whether you`re carrying out an induction, undertaking an investigation, putting team development plans in place or providing support to our business development team, one thing`s for sure - you won`t be short of challenge and variety.

About the ideal candidate;
- Essential; A relevant professional qualification (QCF/NVQ minimum level 3) or working towards/willing to undertake a qualification
- Desirable; Management qualification (minimum level 3) or working towards/willing to undertake a qualification
- Significant understanding of Mental Health needs, Learning Disabilities and/ or Autism
- Substantial experience of working with a housing and social care background
- Substantial experience in managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs
