Here at BS Social Care we have an incredibly exciting opportunity with a reputable not for profit charity and care provider in the Forest of Dean. Our client offers care and support to adults with learning difficulties. Our client's approach to care is holistic and their service is set in beautiful rural countryside. Our client provides care and support, promotes independence, enables potential and encourages purpose. Offering meaningful activities such as craftwork and outdoor activities on their farm, our client enables their residents to live happy and fruitful lives, whilst providing the right opportunities so that residents can realise their potential.

As a Service Manager, you will report directly to the Registered Manager and you will assist in all aspects of running the service. You will oversee the Team Leaders and will use your experience and initiative to ensure the smooth running of the site. You will ensure that all procedures, policies and practices are followed appropriately and that care needs are met.

About you:

You will have a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
You will have experience of working in care, preferably with adults with learning difficulties
You will be a driver with access to a vehicle
You will have supervisory/management experience
You must be caring, empathetic and must endorse the client's values to promote independence and to encourage opportunities that enable residents to realist their potential
You must be flexible
