Job Description

Service manager required to join a specialist registered charity who provide care and support for adults with learning disabilities across the West Midlands and Shropshire regions. This organisation is proud to boast a gold award for "Investors in People".

This service manager opportunity is based within the Whitchurch area of Shropshire. You will be responsible for the delivery of care and support for adults with learning disabilities in supported living settings across the Whitchurch, Prees and Market Drayton areas.

You will work closely with an experienced operations manager, to ensure the delivery of person centred care and support for the young adults you support. You will promote choice and independence, whilst ensuring that all care delivered is in line with company and CQC policies and procedures.

You will take the lead in care and support planning, liaising with external agencies and recruitment. Within this job role, you will be required to hold registration with CQC and should therefore meet all the minimum requirements needed to successfully register.

You will be a knowledgeable, flexible and professional manager who is committed to supporting people to achieve the best possible outcomes for every person you support.

To apply for this vacancy, you will demonstrate a proven background supporting adults with a mental health diagnosis and/or learning disabilities and complex care needs, and be an established manager, within a similar setting.

A formal care management qualification, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are ESSENTIAL.

In return for your extensive knowledge, skills and experience, you will benefit from a salary of up to £28000. You will also receive a generous annual leave allowance, have access to an independent health care scheme, pension contributions and reward and recognition programmes.

Applying for this role could not be easier... Applications can be submitted via email to or through the BS Social Care website today.
