In partnership with a Midlands based provider of childcare and support, I am seeking a service manager to oversee two homely and established residential settings for children and young people in the Birmingham region.
As service manager, you will take on the responsibility for the operational management of your two services, whilst working closely with the OFSTED registered managers, quality manager and REG 44 professional to ensure quality of care and full compliance.
The role of service manager, is a challenging yet rewarding one, which will allow you to deliver positive outcomes for the people who reside in your services.
You will lead on quality and compliance, finance management, referrals and assessments, liaising with external agencies and ensuring your services receive a good to outstanding rating from external audits. You will develop and maintain excellent relationships with your staff teams, and ensure they are receiving excellent training and development.
To be considered for this exciting role, you MUST:
" Demonstrate proven experience within management of children's residential care settings
" An excellent understanding of OFSTED requirements, policies and procedures and delivering GOOD to OUTSTANDING ratings on audits
" Hold the level 5 in leadership and management for children and young people's services or equivalent
" Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
" Be flexible to work across multiple sites
