Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage a well established and person centred housing service as a Service Manager.

BS Social Care is one of the UKs leading specialist recruitment agencies, specialising in permanent and temporary recruitment. We are working with one of our customers who is an established provider supporting adults with mental health issues, autism and substance misuse.


Ideally you will have a relevant qualification or willing to work towards your level 3 in health and social care as well as significant understanding of Mental Health Issues, substantial experience of working with a housing and social care background, experience in managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs. You will also have experience in carrying out investigations and writing reports and recommendations and Experience in managing budgets.

As well as ensuring the highest quality support for service users, the successful candidate will be well versed in void work and reducing void payments. There is a big part of budget management and ensuring that income ian contribute to the organisation after our outgoings. You will have a good understanding of housing management in Mental Health, and experience of working in multi disciplinary teams.

You will also manage the day to day running of the service to provide recovery focused delivery. You will also manage staff, rota's, care packages, KPI's,budgets, your team and all reports.

Beneifts include: 25 days holiday per annum, plus statutory Bank Holidays, or time off in lieu if worked. Annual leave is increased to 28 days after two year's continuous employment.
