Service Manager for supported living and outreach project

Manchester- Trafford Area

£22,000

Full time 37.5 hours

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced service manager or team leader to lead a small supported living service and outreach service in Manchester. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career in managing in the care sector.

This is a service that supports adults with complex needs ranging from, learning disabilities, physical disabilities to emotional and social challenges so the ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in working with all of these needs or at least two of!

The service looks to promote independence to people in the community so you will be person and care centred and totally committed to finding new ways of delivering high quality care in the community.

As service manager you will be at the forefront of the service, you will be responsible for staff rotas, adhering to and improving CQC standards and trying to expand the service where possible.

This is a challenging and rewarding job and the ideal candidate will have a level 3 in health and social care and ideally have a level 5 or registered manager's award. As you will be managing services in the community it is essential you have a valid driving licence and access to your own car! It is also essential that you have experience in managing in the care sector.

The ideal candidate will have a positive outlook, be committed to making a real difference in the care sector, not afraid of challenges and above all fun to be around! You will be the point of contact for staff and clients alike so you must be a good communicator, have a basic understanding of IT packages and a great problem solver.
