BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a Service/Area Manager within the care sector. For this role, we can only accept candidate who hold management experience in care.

The main purpose of this role is to take overall responsibility for the effective management of all aspects of the service, thereby ensuring the provision of the highest quality standards of diagnosis specific care and treatment, driven by the needs of the individual. To lead, manage and direct a multidisciplinary team in the attainment of aims and objectives linked to the company`s strategic plan and the needs of the individual. To meet full compliance in line with the requirement of the regulatory body and relevant legislation. To market the service to all potential commissioners and referrers with the key aim of creating new business opportunities and to manage organic and planned change within the service, to meet the demands of new business.

We are looking for someone who has experience and understanding of what constitutes a high quality specific residential service, a QCF (NVQ) level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or an equivalent, experience of managing budgets and financial systems, experience of using disciplinary /grievance procedures and experience of managing poor performance issues in line with policy and procedure and someone with the ability to prioritise the workload to meet specified deadlines.

This role is to manage our community-based care homes in The Midlands who care for adults with Autism. We have a cluster of three homes in the Bedford/Milton Keynes area so experience of managing multiple sites at once is an essential.
