Service Support Manager
Powys
£26,500

We are working in partnership with a wonderful organisation who are currently recruiting for a Service Support Manager based in Brecon, Powys.


The service provides residential support to children and young people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
Within this role you will be ensuring that employee engagement has a high priority across all departments and be responsible for the delivery of measurable improvements in employee engagement, this will include ensuring the distribution of all communications and information and employee recognition schemes.


Ensure that vehicles are maintained, and the weekly checks are sent to the Fleet Coordinator in a timely manner, and support the Head of Care in ensuring financial objectives and targets are met, which will include appropriate management of facilities staff resources, and the booking of agency staff.


In conjunction with other senior team members select, recruit, and retain facilities staff, ensuring appropriate training and induction, and establish a programme of supervision in line with Company and legislative guidelines.


Assist in building effective working teams, including reviewing team structures to ensure maximum efficiency in discussion with the Head of Care, and Liaise closely with the Health and Safety Officer and HR Department regarding any work - related injuries sustained by staff members, ensuring necessary investigative, supportive, and corrective measures are taken.

Have experience of Health and Safety policies, procedures, and practices.
Have experience and understanding of human resource practices, policies, and procedures.
Have a management qualification or equivalent level of experience.
Target driven - with the ability to work to, and set, timely performance goals/targets and clear objectives
