My client is currently recruiting for a supported living manager based in the Nantwich area. You will be an experienced Child care worker with a good knowledge of all ofsted regulations and have hands on experience working towards ofsted reports. you will be required to drive and have access to your own care, and also have a minimum level 3 children and young people workforce NVQ.
You will be reporting to the Service manager and be responsible for all support workers and social workers dealing with any issues, requests or more serious matter which may have happened on shift. You will be working with individuals with a variety of backgrounds and needs for example mental health, challenging behaviour, learning difficulties, those who have committed offences, EBD (emotional behaviour difficulties), SHB (sexually harmful behaviour), substance misuse, self harm and risk of CSE (child sexual exploitation).
" The post requires the holder to work on a shift pattern as part of a rota. Sleep in duties will be included, as well as working weekends and bank holidays where required.
" The post requires the holder to have a clear DBS check at all times.
" On occasion you may be requested to change your rota at a given notice as per your contract. This is to ensure the contingencies of the service are covered. This may also include covering additional shifts as emergency cover and / or varying your place of work or start and finish times.
