A reputable Eastbourne based client is currently looking for dedicated Support Workers to support their adult service users with day to day living. The service provides support for individuals with mild learning difficulties & mental health issues.


Your role will include:

- Encouraging & promoting independent living
- Prompting, and at times, assisting service users with personal care
- Read and follow person centred support plans, sharing relevent updates as necessary
- Managing challenging behaviours
- Any other relevant tasks to ensure the smooth running the service

We are looking for someone who...

Is proactive & enthusiastic about providing support and assisting clients achieve outcomes
Is empathetic & understanding of the conditions, and as a result, the behaviours of the clients
Confidence with undertaking such a role
Experience providing support or care to vulnerable adults or children

To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 6 months experience working with Adults with learning disabilities/ mental health conditions.

The shift patterns are

Earlies 7.30am/8.00am - 14.00pm/14.30pm
Lates 14.00pm/14.30pm - 21.30pm/22.00pm
Waking Nights 22.00pm-8.00am
