Job Description

Title: Carer / Support Worker (No Exp required)
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £10.00 -10.40 per hour (£12.50 - £13.00 weekend hours) Increasing in Jan 2022
Contract Type: Permanent (Full time & Part time available) (16 - 37 hours)

About the Role
Caring & supporting students by helping them on their path to achieving independence. You will cater to each individual you support - caring for students amongst a range of complex needs from physical, brain injury to autism & learning disabilities.

You will be supported through bespoke training and development working as a member of a friendly & supporting team.

Part of the role involves personal care such as tube & PEG feeding.

You will also be taking part in leisure activities such as swimming, arts & crafts, and taking students` out into the community!

About You
You are passionate about care and are looking for career growth in the sector. You are understanding, empathetic and caring towards physical disabilities with a strong awareness of mental health, autism and learning difficulties in young people (18 - 25).

o Experience in Care (ideal but not essential)
