Incommunities Support Worker (Hydrid working)
3 month contract
Kirklees

Hourly rate: £10-11 an hour
Monday-Friday Day shift (9am-5pm)

Do you have experience in working with Hostels/Homelessness?
Do you have patience in communicating and passionate about making a difference?

This housing association provides community support for tenants based in kirklees and are looking for someone to assist residents who have gone through trauma/homelssesness/drug misuse and provide ongoing support in there own environment to ensure the best possible outcome for them to live an independent life.

Some experience of working in a similar setting is essential as the circumstances of the people being supported will be complex.

All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Roles & Responsibilities
" Support tenants with benefit claims and housing applications.
" Support the process of management of tenancy related issues such as new tenancy sign up's, tenancy warnings, end tenancy and repairs under the direction of your line manager.
" Develop open, honest, supportive and professional relationships with people who use our services and maintain confidentiality.
" Contribute to the protection of individuals from the risk of abuse and harm to themselves
" To maintain accurate records as required by policies and procedures, proactively contributing to continuously improving the service by making positive suggestions, providing constructive feedback and assisting in the implementation of agreed new ways of working.
" Provide regular support to tenants in line with their agreed level of support plans and any other duties as required.
