Male Support Worker required!!

This is your chance to join an amazing team of Support workers in a large organisation in Ealing!

Position: Support Worker
Location: Ealing
Hours: Full & part-time available, 20 to 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £10

We are looking for several dedicated Male Support Workers to join our team of flexible and bank workers for a service in Ealing. We work with a range of hours, which is a perfect way to work your job around your personal commitments.

Your role will involve working with vulnerable people with Learning Disabilities and Challenging behaviour. You will help them develop their independence and will need to combine your professional experience and skills to work with both adults and young people on a day to day basis to promote their independence and ensure that they have fun while staying safe.


You must have:

Good communication both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with people with learning disabilities using a variety of methods to meet the needs of the individual.
To have a good level of numeracy to assist the service user to manage their finances.
The ability to work individually or as part of a team.
To understand and adhere to safeguarding principles. To be honest, reliable, punctual, flexible and able to work shifts that includes weekends and public holidays
To participate in staff meetings, training and other learning development opportunities

You will need to be confident in working with adults and have a real desire to support the work of the permanent members of staff.


The ideal candidate must have the following:
