Are you looking to take the next step in your career?

BS Social Care is a national organisation, specialising in the recruitment of professionals within the Health and Social Care sector. We are currently working alongside a specialist provider within Learning Disabilities and Education services in their recruitment of experienced Residential Support Workers.

You will join a highly reputable Health and Social Care provider who have gained significant reward and recognition from external organisations such as OFSTED and CQC for the level of care they deliver. They deliver independent care and support, within a residential setting, for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and challenging behaviour.

In this role you will support the Senior staff and Residential Manager in providing the best quality care in a safe and care focused environment for the adults. When on shift you will have initial responsibilities for monitoring and supervision of the adults in this 8-bed service while ensuring the welfare and care of the service users.

Your duties will further involve the organisation of work patterns, facilitation of care focused training, and accessing of appropriate services to support the practices within the service.

The successful candidate will have:

- NVQ Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care

- Minimum 2 years' experience supporting adults with learning, physical disabilities and challenging behaviour

- At least 12 months experience working in a similar setting within residential care
