Your ability to demonstrate your previous knowledge of working with vulnerable adults could put you in prime position for this next role!
You will be supporting someone with an acquired brain injury or someone with complex needs.
We are looking for an experienced support worker to care and support vulnerable adults.
Your role will be to support vulnerable adults in a supported living or residential setting. You will encourage them to live as independently as possible through empowerment and providing extra care, overall your role is put a smile on their face and develop relationships.
Each person receiving support is an individual, therefore their needs will vary. Within this residential setting the service users will require care 24/7 so shift patterns are available Monday to Sunday and can be a mixture of days/nights/weekends.
You will be working with a fantastic and supportive team, who will be there to provide you with any help, support or guidance that you need.
You have the added benefit of being in control of your own rota as shifts are flexible and can fit round any other commitments you may have.
Ideally, you will have worked in a similar setting before for at least 6 months, and being a driver is desirable but not essential.
