A very exciting opportunity has arisen, supporting individuals within a well established organisation. Supporting individuals who may have a historical forensic background.

The role of the support worker is to support individuals who may have historical forensic backgrounds, the re offending for these service users are low and most of the history is pre-disposed and includes mixing with the wrong crowds. The service users can be verbally challenging but they are looking for individuals who can provide emotional support be able to think on their feet and follow their own initiative and be practical. Your duties each day will vary, from going out into the community on walks and working alongside social enterprises. This role is a on a temporary basis and has the potential to offer full time hours and possibly go permanent.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who is a strong character and comfortable working in difficult situations. You will need to be aware of maintaining professional at all times but still being able to engage and communicate with individuals.

You will need experience working with the social care in the past 2 years, if you have a DBS on the update service we would love to hear from you! It is not essential however if you have any ex offending background and have experience dealing with offenders this would be beneficial.
