A brand new service has opened in Blackpool which needs support workers! If you are seeking a new opportunity look no further.

This role is working within a brand new service, you will be working with older adults who have dementia. Your role will to be a companion and support with general tasks. There will be some personal care involved such as encouragement to shower and you may need to support them at night, getting them ready for bed then up in the morning. This role is a on a temporary basis, but as it is a new service it may have the potential to go permanent.

The candidate we are looking for is someone who has their moving and handling training, driver and has access to your own vehicle. We also need individuals who are reliable and consistent as this is a brand new service!

You will need a minimum of 1 years paid work experience within the social care sector in the past 2 years or 6 months within the past year. If you have a DBS on the update service we would love to hear from you!
