We have a brand new opportunity supporting young adults with brain injuries. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity which is perfect for someone who is looking for a new role within Chorley.

The role of the support worker is to support an individual who suffers with communication difficulties, due to suffering with a brain injury. There will be all aspects of personal are due to them being in a wheelchair. You will need to communicate with them, motivate them and be a companion. You will be supporting within their own home. This is a temporary opportunity with full time hours available, this is ongoing temporary.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is able to communicate with young adults and have similar interests. You will be pro-active and reliable and be supporting anything from waking up in the morning to putting to bed at night but creating that companionship.

You will need a minimum of 1 years paid experience within the social care sector in the past 2 years or 6 months experience in the past year. If you have a DBS on the update service we would love to hear from you!
