Job Description

Role: Support worker
Salary: £9.00 - £9.50 per hour
Location: Greenford (UB6 8HL)
Hours per week: full or Part time (Flexible hours)
Contract: Temporary

We are currently looking to hire experienced and dedicated support workers to work within a residential service supporting service users with Learning Disabilities in Greenford.

The role involves:
Supporting service users with all aspects of daily living including personal care, medication Daily living skills & Accessing the community on a rota basis.
Safeguarding service user's rights and dignity
Providing independence and social inclusion
Encouraging service users to be involved in decisions about their lives

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to use initiative
Good communication and writing skills
Able to understand care and support plans

To be considered to join our team of specialist staff we ask that you have:
Min Level 2 certificate in Health and Social Care
Moving and positioning
Awareness of Mental Health Learning Disabilities
Safeguarding Adults
Minimum 6 months of experience within care
