Support Worker
Swansea
Up to £10 per hour + holiday pay + pension contributions

Support workers are required for ongoing/temporary jobs providing support and care to a variety of vulnerable adults.

We are looking for experienced candidates who are looking for an exciting opportunity in the Swansea area. We have an on-going agreement with leading care providers in South Wales who are looking for enthusiastic individuals to help them where possible.

Your role will be to help care and support for vulnerable adults in in a supported living or residential setting. You will encourage them to live as independently as possible, help them to cook, clean, go shopping and to appointments and help them in the community. Your role will be to put a smile on their face. Due to the needs of the service users we are looking for individuals that would be willing to conduct personal care and deal with challenging behaviour. PBM restraint training is desirable.

Shifts are available Monday to Sunday and can be a mixture of days/nights/weekends. You have the added benefit of being in control of your own rota as shifts are flexible and can fit round any other commitments you may have.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of six month's practical experience within the care sector.

Being a driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential. They will also have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
