Support worker required for a Residential Service for deaf individuals who have learning disabilities

BS Social Care are currently looking for experienced support workers to work in a Residential service for deaf individuals.

Details of the role:
Position: Support Worker
Location: Canterbury
Hours: Full time or part time

Potential temp to perm role

Guaranteed hours

You will be playing an important role in providing outstanding support and care for service users and your daily tasks as a support worker will include assisting deaf service users and to have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills to be able to meat all needs accordingly.

Duties:

Handling medication

Complex care needs

Person centred approach
Promoting and ensuring privacy and dignity

**All candidates will need to be Covid -19 tested 5 days prior to starting the role. You must be willing to show test results. for the safety of the, residents' staff, all agency staff and yourself

Minimum requirements to work with BS Social Care as a Care Worker:

Recent Care experience

You must have the right to work in the UK

For the registration; you must have your -- Passport, Biometric Residence Card, Proof of address, National Insurance and an enhance DBS

You must have a good level of English and be able to communicate

A warm and personable nature with the ability to work with patience and understanding.
