Exciting opportunities available for support workers to support young people with profound learning disabilities, and associated complex needs.

Working on behalf of BS Social Care, we are one of the UK's leading specialist social care agencies providing staff on a temporary and permanent basis across the social care markets. Our branch covers the Lancashire and Cumbria regions.

we are seeking skilled Support Workers who are seeking temporary work, possibly on a longer term basis supporting young people within a residential school setting for young people with complex needs and profound learning disabilities. The young people range in ages from age 2 to 19. There is a specialist school provision on site, and optional residential services.

Ideally you will have experience of working within a similar setting, have experience and knowledge of supporting people with profound learning disability and complex needs and be flexible to work on a rota basis incl days, nights and weekends, evenings. You will also be able to support with personal care where needed.

ideally you will hold a minimum of one year experience of working across the social care settings, or with 6 months and a relevant social care qualification.
