Job Description

Are you seeking temporary work across the East Lancashire area supporting adults with disabilities and complex needs?

we are seeking skilled Support Workers to work on behalf of BS Social Care, working for one of our valid customers who provide support and care to adults with learning, and physical disabilities and complex needs. BS Social Care is one of the Uk's leading specialist recruitment agencies sourcing and placed skilled workers on a temporary and permanent basis across the social care markets. Our branch covers the Lancashire and Cumbria regions.

The roles will be to provide support to adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and some behaviours that may challenge. The support may be with daily living skills, support with personal care, and provide support with meal preparation and accessing the community where required to.

Ideally you will have experience of supporting people with a learning disability and complex care needs, or have worked across a similar setting whether supported living or residential services. you will have a positive approach to work and support and be able to encourage individuals. You will not be easily phased by behaviour that may challenge and be ok with all aspects of personal care. you will have a passion for working with vulnerable people and be flexible to work on a rota basis including days, nights, sleep ins and weekends.

Ideally you will have a minimum of one year paid experience of working across the social care sector, or with 6 months experience and a relevant social care qualification. you will also hold relevant care certificates and mandatory training.

We offer competitive rates of pay , scope for temporary roles becoming permanent, annual leave entitlement and you will be on a contract of employment with BS Social Care. training opportunities also available.
