Job Description

Are you a caring and experienced children`s residential support worker looking for a new role in the Bristol area? Then please read on.

I am lucky enough to be recruiting for an exemplary children`s residential service who are looking for an experienced children`s support worker to join their team on a temp to perm basis. The service is a small friendly residential home with 2 young people at the moment growing to 3 by the summer time 2019.

If you are dedicated to providing a high standard of care to young people who haven`t had the usual family focused start in life then please get in touch.

Ideally you will have a L3 qualification in children's services and some experience with supporting children with autism, as well as knowledge of Team Teach and Safeguarding children.

Car owner/drivers are required please as the service is not on a main bus route. There will also be driving involved as part of the role.

This role offers a rolling rota with 2 days on and 4 days off totalling about 40 hours per week including sleep-ins. Pay rate is £8.50 per hour and overnight rate for the sleep-in.
