Job Description

Support Worker - Drug and Alcohol Misuse - Northumberland - Full Time - £19,000 + Benefits

Your role will be to provide high quality, innovative care and assist in the delivery of the organisation`s substance misuse strategy. You will deliver this care in accordance with the agreed, comprehensive, person-centred, and individualised plans which reflect the company`s person-centred values. You will have an existing, confident knowledge of risk-assessments which are reflective of a psycho-social intervention model.

You will be responsible for holding frequent key work sessions, regularly reviewing and when required recommending updates to comprehensive assessment and risk assessments. You will be required for providing person centred care which ensure that the service users health, safety, and well-being is maintained. Administering prescription, is also an aspect of this role. You will be working in an environment which is free from abuse and neglect. You will be contributing to regular recovery plan reviews that ensure continued relevance of interventions and engaging in regular 1-2-1 supervision and clinical team meetings.
