Job Description

** Support Worker in Supported living **
** To support and provide personal care on a 1:1 basis **
** Northampton **
** £9.29/hour + £50 per sleep in (Sleep in from 10pm to 6am) **
** Average of 40h hours per week on a 1 to 1 at £9.29 + £50 per sleep in. Every other Saturday
Rota as per below:

Monday 5 pm to Tuesday 9 am
Wednesday 5pm to Thursday 9 am
Saturday 9am until 5pm (Every other Saturday)
Sunday 9 am to 5 pm or 5pm to 9 am

About the company: You will be part of an established and respected day care provider, based in Northampton. They cater for adults with autism and a range of learning disabilities.

About the job: this role is to support on a 1 to 1 a 30-year-old service user.

About the candidate: You must be a "DRIVER" / non driver won`t be selected. Ideally you will hold minimum a Level 2 in Health and Social Care with at least minimum 1 years` experience within supported living. The ideal candidate must be caring, passionate, bubbly, and dynamic and must have superb communication skills.

This role requires lots of resilience, lots of motivation and lots of passion to do the job well.
Your responsibilities:
" Providing personal care to the client (refer to individual care plan)
" Supporting the client with household tasks/completing household tasks on behalf of the client.
Supporting the client to ensure food and fluid intake-advising on healthy choices
" Using de-escalation techniques should the client display challenging behavior
" Reporting, to the manager, cases of abuse against the client
" Reporting, to the manager, health, and safety issues in the home
" Dealing with any household emergencies as per policies
" Informing the manager of any expression of dissatisfaction made by a client/ parent/ guardian in relation to the service provided by Project Care
" Respecting the client`s home as their own
" Assisting the client to access leisure activities
" Assisting the service user to maintain personal relationships
" Sleeping nights
" Record keeping
" Medication support
" Where the service user has a mobility car this is to be used for all transportation
" Monitor wellbeing of client
" Assisting the service user to manage personal finances

Shifts: Average of 40 hours per week paid at the hourly rate of £9.29. There will be an average of 2.5 sleeps in a month at £50 per sleep in
