I am working with a well established care provider, supporting three of their service across Northamptonshire. They specialise in person centred, residential care for adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Illness and associated challenging behaviour. They strive to provide a family feel home environment for their service users to give them the comforting and secure environment that they need.

I am looking for someone looking for flexible hours to support on an ongoing basis in Wellingborough. This particular service is 5 bedded however their service users are all 1-2-1. You will be providing this 1-2-1 support, which may include personal care depending on the service user you are with. You will also support in general housekeeping, going out on activities, and providing support to the core members of staff when needed. General housekeeping will involve cooking, cleaning, helping with the laundry. You will need to engage with the service users, encouraging them to take part in activities.

You will be experienced working in a residential setting. You will be experience working with adults with learning disabilities, as well as trained to work with adults with challenging behaviour. Ideally, you will be restraint trained so you can assist core staff when necessary. You will be passionate about providing a high standard of care, engaging when it comes to interactive with the service users.

You need to have a minimum of 12 months experience in care, ideally from a background working with adults with learning disabilities.

You will need to have an up to date DBS on the online update service. If you don't have this, I can support you in getting this.

The more availability you give me, the more work I can give you so good flexibility is ideal.

£8.50 - £9.00 an hour + benefits
