Job Description

We have great opportunities for Support Workers to join an organisation that provides care and support adults with learning difficulties in Market Harborough on a temp-perm basis. You will work through us for the 1st 12 weeks, after which you will become permanent with the client.

You`ll be working both as part of a team and on an individual basis to help adults with learning difficulties living in their own homes or supported living; helping them to develop, learn and increase their independence through person centred care.

You must have 12 months previous experience in a similar role, or 6 months with a qualification.
Experience with Breakaway & Intervention Techniques would be an advantage.

You will be supporting with the following:
-Social skills/relationships
-Personal care/hygiene
-Using community services and facilities
-Social, leisure and work activities
-Self-organisation and coping abilities
-Personal safety

Hours on a rota basis and you will be expected to work flexibly to include some evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Pay rate between £8.00-£8.40 dependant on qualifications and experience.
